ARTIST BIO
My name is Leah Stoogenke; I'm a recent Tulane University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in English, Philosophy, History, and Political Science. Though my majors don't seem to imply artist, I have always been inspired by art, and my passion is using my artistic abilities to educate and inspire people about causes I care about, including the environment, equality/empowerment, and mental health.

Over my years of practicing digital and traditional art, I have had the wonderful opportunities to write and co-illustrate a bestselling children's book for a girls' empowerment charity, illustrate another children's book for a COVID response charity, and create multiple commissioned works in both digital and traditional styles as well as partnering with businesses to provide food photography and blog content.​

Aside from visual art, I spend my time singing with my A Cappella group, writing music and stories, and playing Ukulele for my two pet birds to sing along.

Developed and executed marketing projects including training videos, presentations, and advertisements; writing blog posts for Lighting Environments, a company representing hundreds of lighting manufacturers including Philips, Signify, Axis, and Bega across the East Coast

ESL TUTOR
Tutored immigrants from Africa, Asia, Europe, South America, Pacific Islands, Central America, and the Middle East in English language and American culture, and coached them through the citizenship/legal process, using French proficiency
